Instead of me packing I am writing this steemit post first! I have 4hrs left till I leave my home in London to Stansted Airport for Sorrento Town in Italy & I wanted to write a steemit post first! This is my first time to Italy & I am looking forward to eating all the delicious Italian foods & do a little sight seeing too! Sorrento is a beautiful coastal town in south west Italy & it is facing the Bay of Naples which is on the Sorrentine Peninsula.
It is also perched atop cliffs which separate the town from its busy marinas, it is also known for sweeping water views & Piazza Tasso, a cafe-lined square.
Here are 4 quick facts about Sorrento Italy.
1: Limoncello is one of the most famous alcoholic beverages of Sorrento (I am looking forward to drinking this)
2: "Come back to Sorrento" became a worldwide famous from Frank Sinatra
3: Sorrento has it's coastlines on the Gulf of Naples.
4: Torquato Tasso the Italian Poet was born in 1544 in Sorrento
