Located very close to Varanasi in India, Sarnath is one of the most holy Buddhist worship places. Though my interest in the place were kind of 'touristy', I found the ambience to be extremely calming and captured some wonderful images.
Tibetan Buddhist Praying wheels:
These Copper cylinders are engraved with the prayers and the Buddhist belief is that rotating these cylinders is just as effective as chanting the prayers. When rows of these cylinders spin in silence, they form a mesmerizing spectacle.
Sarnath Temple:
Clean, Silent and reverberating with chants, this temple has a profound calming effect on you, irrespective of the religion you belong to
Lovely Surroundings:
This tree caught my attention. With half part dead and half with vibrant leaves, I think it symbolizes life-death or yin-yang
