Hello there friends! How have you all been? Hoping you are all doing great. I have been away for a while and wasn't able to post here for a week. It's because I went on a trip to Baco, Oriental Mindoro, Philippines last weekend and just when I got back to Batangas, Monday morning when I was going back to Manila for work, I got sick. I have had ulcer for 3 years now and had an attack that morning. Awful, I know. But I wanted to share with you guys my quick trip to Mindoro.
Tried to capture the view of leaving Batangas City from a moving vessel but too lazy to stand up and get a proper shot. So instead, I got a blurred with another vessel blocking the view. Fantastic. Note the sarcasm there LOL
After a few minutes and the waves are getting bigger, making the vessel go in high up and deep down motions. Making my head feel so heavy and making my stomach hurl. This is another one of my weaknesses.
Guess who's that pokemon?
Someone's feeling a little dizzy here...
Just before the night ends, something came up and that made me feel very agitated, no, that term doesn't justify it. Let's just say I was sort of devastated. It's not something I'm ready to talk about right now. It was an issue about my relationship with my boyfriend but later got fixed (I can't say it with a straight face though, who am I fooling?) which was not much of a big thing but if you're a girl like me, you'd understand.
The morning after, we were already in good terms but I felt so drained and empty, I couldn't even eat anything. Even if I ate, I couldn't digest it. So you know what happened, I didn't properly ad to compensate for my sadness, I craved for cola, which was NOT good for me, for my stomach considering I haven't eaten anything decent that day and it was already past lunchtime. I may be trying to kill myself that time by satisfying my emotional distress. (Now you have the other reason why I had an attack the next day plus the effect that for that whole week I already wasn't eating properly.)

It's funny I even got to make a photographic scene of the cola I drank as we were leaving for Batangas, I already replaced the liquid inside of it with water. Obviously I was still in the right frame of mind that time. And did I mention how long it has take before you can have a ride from Baco back to Calapan City? (where we can get a ride to Calapan Port) I can't recall how long we waited but I decided to take my time taking some photos before I left.
You know how much I love VSCO so these photos were taken from my phone and have been edited with VSCO.

Standing on top of these rocks and taking a photo from the top view
Mind you, it was really frustrating because I was trying to avoid catching my ugly feet LOOOL

Surface level perspective
Honestly, I don't really know how and what to call this view. I just like taking pictures on different perspectives

Surface level perspective
Yep, I placed my phone on the road. It is evident that vehicles hardly pass by since it's a provincial national road.

Poinsettia
Honestly the photo didn't do the plant any justice. I really was amazed by the nature and how everything is different and better in the province. Saw some of these plants in Makati, and I am telling you, the difference is a lot to be distinguished.

A cow sitting like a royal
Just passed by a cow and looking magnificent just sitting there having the best luncheon of his life.

Some random leaf on the roadside
I tried to take some photos of the breath-taking view on the road but the jeepney was running too fast I couldn't get a decent shot so I got this instead:

I really tried to get a good photo but when you're in a vehicle moving for 120-140kph, I don't know whether to pray for my soul or a good photo.
But I did resort to taking GIFs..

From the GIFs I took, it should be pretty obvious how fast the jeepney I was riding. I wanted to show you guys how beautiful the province is. How relaxing and stress free the environment was. Just what I needed at that time. I missed traveling a lot. Last year, 2017 was my birth year in venturing the traveling world. I hope 2018 will kind to grant me opportunities for travel and more places to reach and explore.
When we arrived at Calapan Port, I was stunned by the view. I think it was the first time I saw the famous Mt. Halcon at a good view from the port. The weather was nice so it gave way for the view, though the clouds were covering the mountain a little.

Mt. Halcon
And again, the photo didn't do it anyn justice how captivating the view was at that moment. My amateur photography skills didn't do it any justice. I only wish I had a better and high end camera, I could've got a better photo than this, at the very least.
And that my dear Steemit friends, is my one day trip to Mindoro. I wish I could've stayed longer, could've went to more places there. In the future, maybe, I'll be sharing more of my Mindoro escapades to all of you :) But for now, here's what I can share...
Keep Steeming Everyone! :)
Here's some awkward photos of me with Mt. Halcon in the background :D unfiltered so you can see the beauty of the mountain even if I'm blocking the view LOL
