of the towns I stopped in on my way to Eltz Castle was Limburg. Never heard of this place before my road trip but glad I stopped here. It has a cute old town and an impressive cathedral.
If are ever in Frankfurt on a long layover consider renting a car and checking out Burg Eltz... it’s well worth it, plus the drive is very scenic and loads of fun...
Burg Eltz has the perfect balance of beautiful architecture and the amazing scenery. It is pure magic and one of my favorite castles in the world.
About the only thing I’ll miss about winter is skiing but so glad spring is finally here.

Love this opening on the trail to Manoa Falls. So much beauty on a relatively short trail. Be prepared to get a little wet as you make your way through this rainforest.

Got super lucky and was able to do the ATV tour for half price. Kualoa Ranch is such a beautiful place and ATV is definitely the best way to explore it.

Moanalua middle ridge trail is an alternative and much more exciting way to get to the top of Haiku Stairs. This is a 10.4 mile hike and much more dangerous than climbing the stairs hence why most people choose not to do it. It is however the only legal way to get to them and well worth it. You will encounter narrow and exposed ridge lines, slippery, muddy conditions and many rope climbs. Big thanks to @mike.karas for letting us use his spikes and gloves. Made the hike much easier.
