Can we recognize something we have never experienced?
Where this idea came from
Bob Lazar once worked at Area 51 around Groom Lake, Nevada. In fact, he is the person who first said that Area 51 existed. I think he became a whistleblower after he was removed from his job when he brought a group of friends out near the area one night. He wanted to show them the strange activity going on there – experimenting with strange flying crafts. You may or may not believe him, my interest here is from what he said in an interview once. His job was to figure out how they flew – what kind of propulsion system they used. Re-engineering them I guess. He said that one of the captured flying crafts there in the hangar was discovered in an architectural dig. Imagine that. What does that mean? Were these crafts flying around years ago and one was buried in an avalanche or flood? It is crazy to contemplate. If we consider that these crafts are more advanced, does that mean that they might be from the future, or that time travel is possible? Anyway, I have had fun exploring the ideas.
At one point I created a number of these vector line-morphing shapes. I liked them but didn’t find a use for them… until now. This is the second of 6 pieces. I like to think of them as a glimpse into a bit of technology from the future, surfacing in current time. Embedded in a deeper mystery perhaps.
