First of all we would like to thank everyone using Steemit. It is our first time here and we are still learning the ropes but it looks like there is an amazing community here, especially in the travel section!!!
So, who are the @TimezoneJunkies? Well, we are an English/Swedish couple that have been together for over 8 years and during that time we have been travelling quite a lot. We met in Spain and spent time between there and Thailand for 5 years or more and in 2017 we decided to do something more creative. We had been watching different Youtubers and travel shows and were inspired by people travelling and living in alternative ways. We decided to travel to Thailand and hitchhike, volunteer and generally do new things.
Then in April 2017 we decided to do something crazy! We decided to not get on our return flight to the UK but instead HITCHHIKE all the way back to Europe!
It felt like an incredibly big challenge and we are really looking forward to sharing our journey on Steemit with like-minded people.
We are very excited to meet other travellers on here and join the community and movement that is happening on Steemit!
