Welcome to my new idea for a photoblog: Taking out trees on beautiful San Juan Island! I get an awesome opportunity to experience amazing properties and views, as well as significant tree removal projects, and I think some random eyes around here might find this work interesting.
First off... The properties that we work on out here are beyond words, in their architecture and their seaside views.
Today was relatively simple, mostly because our client told us to leave the fallen madrona branches for the local deer. That saves us a lot of work.
Jason chipped a ton of wood that had been stacked the last time we were at this job site while Tawm and I dealt with the madrona trees near the shore that were obstructing our clients’ view towards the water. I just tied knots and pulled ropes, mostly. I had a bit of creative control when deciding what branches really needed to be trimmed, but mostly I was along for the ride today.
I’m super stoked to continue helping Tawm with what he does and also to show you more of what we’re up to! Until next time!
