It is a cloudy #treetuesday for sure but I am grateful that it's nearly 40 degrees and we do not currently have snow. I always try to keep in mind that things could always be worse.
On the new way of eating front, I am down 6 pounds so far. Not too bad of a loss since November 16th, all things considered. We did have pizza one Friday night since then, had Mexican for lunch another day and we've had Thanksgiving as well. Each time, I just ate what I wanted to.
And that is how I plan to do it. Once a week, I allow myself stuff I do not eat on the other days. I just don't go overboard when I do it and I don't let myself get off course for every meal that day.
Thanksgiving was wonderful, we went to the farm. It was good to see everyone. I wish I could have gotten some outdoor photo's but the weather was windy and cold. We had good company and plenty to eat inside though.
The above is one of my favorite views on the farm and I soaked plenty of it in that day as we visited with everyone there.
Now that December is here, I have been gearing towards Christmas. My shopping is nearly done, I just have stocking stuffers to go yet. Well, that and side dishes. We got our Christmas Turkey and Ham on sale the day after Thanksgiving.
Maybe we will get our Christmas tree up this weekend... We always seem to put off getting it out of the attic. I mean, who wants to crawl in there with all the cob webs... Ha!!
