#TreeTuesday in the Rockies
Here are some pictures I took while hiking through Rocky Mountain National Park earlier in the year. We launched our expedition from the Bear Lake Trail-head and worked our way up to Dream Lake. These shots were taken in early June. The picture above is on a ledge overlooking Nymph Lake and the vast Rocky Mountain range. Colorado is one of the most beautiful places I have ever traveled. The landscapes are breath-taking and the air is always crisp.
The photo below was a rushing stream making it's way down the mountain. During the late spring the melting snow from atop the mountain flows downhill into rivers, lakes and streams supplying many with fresh water.
The Rocky Mountain scenery is just brilliant.
