Found a little beauty down here on the Central Coast of California in Santa Maria. The Rancho Maria Golf Club is tremendously undervalued in my opinion. The fairways and greens are kept up better than most local municipal clubs. How can you not fall in love with the palm trees scattered about the course? Not too many hills on the course, just a little bit of water, but the lush greens are what it's all about.
72 degrees around 2:00 PM, perfect weather for a round of golf. Only $31.00 to walk and like $14.00 more for a cart, but I never take a cart anymore I prefer to walk and carry my bag, makes me feel more in tune with the course. Sometimes driving the cart, distracts me from my goal. What's my goal you may ask? My goal is to approach, focus on each shot, and put my best swing forward each time I stand over the golf ball.
