There are a total of 11'498 CTPSB tokens that were emitted. Of these tokens, 9432 CTPSB are currently in circulation and 2066 tokens were burnt. The burn rate is at 18%.
The interesting thing is to compare the token value of CTPSB without and with the burned tokens.
If we hadn't burnt any tokens at all, the value of CTPSB would be 2.93 Hive. Thanks to the burnt tokens however, the value of each token is 3.571 Hive. This shows the impact that the burnt tokens have on the token value quite precisely.
This week, we have burnt again 2 CTPSB tokens. Contrary to most other Hive Engine tokens, there are no new CTPSB tokens minted in normal conditions. This means that every weekly burn is actively pushing the return of the existing token holders.
During the last weeks, we could see quite a lot of people selling their assets and CTPSB wasn't spared either. I would like to encourage people to keep their tokens. CTPSB is probably one of the safest investments on hive-engine since every single token is backed by hive power. The great thing is that if you don't want to be active on hive, you can simply keep your CTPSB tokens. Your tokens will work for you because the hive power behind them votes content, generates curation and author rewards and gets even a better return than a full account thanks to other income sources...
