This is the "I have the inalienable right to the due process of law sigil

I did not intend to start with this one - but I am going off the images only now since the sigils are done.

I am doing the frames now. I was originally going to do slices of tree stumps as the frames but now I am going to try cardboard. I have always wanted to sculpt in cardboard. I found a huge cardboard box on the street yesterday,

and today I cut 4 15" circles larger than this piece to use as the basis of the first frame.

I decided to make this first one fairly simple and not overthink it so that I can figure out the materials. I am using woodglue 50% water as my paper mache paste - hoping to get the frame to be hard and durable as a rock, but it will be light-weight and I can decorate it as I want...I intend to do encaustic to "glue" the artwork to the frame.

I am trying to use cardboard because I have always wanted to master using cardboard as a sculpting medium. I am using woodglue to glue 4 layers of cardboard circles together.

But it's one at a time, because each one has to be different. And I am not sure what direction I am going to go in - I just know from reading The Emerald Tablets, that I want it to be on a round substrate rather than a rectangle. I think "they" have geared us to rectangles and I am getting away from their laws and their ways altogether in hopes to gain insight as to how to birth the new earth.

I have to make the cardboard so strong that it doesn't weaken and decay over time - that it stays strong. I think I have decided that I am going to have use a can of flat white housepaint to make this thing uniform.

I filled in all the star rays with sand mixed with mod podge to give them strength.

Then I covered them all with paper/woodglue mache...

this took one day of work - I want it to be hand-made but I also want it to look intentional and I want it to be super strong so I will probably go off to Home Depot to get a can of Behr flat white next...
