Before Mercury went RX - so like 6 weeks ago, I made this "frame" for this piece - and it was just HIDEOUS. I used cardboard and my first attempt at paper mache clay... and I stared at it for the entire Mercury RX. Then yesterday I made a new batch of papermache clay - 1 cup paper pulp from junk mail, 1 cup joint compound mixed with water, 1 cup wood glue, 1 cup flour, and a little water- and then I just began with a prayer - begging God to help me do something cool with it.
And it worked. Mercury is Direct. My sun is back in my sun sign and I am back on track again.
That paper mache clay is the BOMB! It dries super hard and I got some sand paper to it and next I will put primer on it and then paint it with acrylic or watercolor and then likely I will put a coat of waterbased urethayne on the whole thing.
