I do feel a sense of remorse for the Palestinians because they were forced from their land thousands of years ago. But then I start to think, who did the Palestinians get their land from? And so on.
If we could give back land to all peoples who were wrongly forced from their homeland, then we can only go back as far as written records.
Lets see ... Europeans took control of America from the Native Indians (sort of), but in reality the Indian tribes were fighting each other and the French actually brought peace to the area before the British took control. Thousands of years before Syrians were forced to leave Syria by ISIS, they brutally slaughtered Assyrians out of the land.
So I am torn as to who to feel sorry for. Because in some instances the current natives being hurt were the ones who were doing the hurting.
... anyways, in conclusion, @oneness I think it is good to hear both sides of this situation ... keep it up.
