Today I am going to share my little knowledge about my country India so that you all may know them too and hope to get to know about yours too.
Firstly I am very much proud to be an Indian because of course its my birth country. India is a diverse country with 132.42 crores population,2016 ( source:World Bank and United States Census Bureau). India is the birthplace of human speech, the mother of history and the great grandmother of culture,religion and tradition.
Some interesting Facts about India :-
- The 2011 Kumbh Mela was the largest gathering of people with more than 75 million pilgrims.The gathering was so huge that it was visible from space.
- Mawsynram and Cherrapunji,two small parts of the state Meghalaya holds the record for the most rainfall in the world.
- At an average altitude of 2,445 meters,the Chail Cricket Ground in Chail,Himachal Pradesh is the highest in the whole planet (1893).
- India is the second largest English speaking country in the world after USA with almost 125 million i.e. only 10% of the total population.
- India is the largest milk producer in the world that overtook European Union in 2014.
- Initially,Diamonds were only found in India until 18th Century.
Some Sad Facts about India:
Indian people have some negative impressions too that decreases the positivity of the country in a rapid manner.
- India is a place where the length of the clothes decides the character of a girl.
- Our great Saints wrote "Kamasutra" but we can't speak that word "Sex" in public.
3.No food to offer to the beggers but a plenty of food to offer to the God. - Irony is that Indians are shy and still are 132 crores in number.
- School teaches us there is no caste,still asks for caste certificate.
- Reserved people get more benefits than the deserving people.
- In India , dustbins are the cleanest places. that you can find across places.
Actually I am not against other caste,governments nor anything else but just want the educated people to act more like educated and try to make better India with their valuable educations and spread the awareness all over the places.
