If traveling to Ankara or Istanbul, enjoy and walk through the streets of the old city. Do not miss visiting the mosque "haci bayram camisi", turki people call camii (read: jamii) for a large mosque while mescit (read: mesjit) for langgar.
Come to the mosque, if possible, enjoy the congregational prayers there although shaf is not always full. After that, check out the amazing architectural details. Although you can not speak Turkish, you can still know how old the mosque is. Because, there is always writing about the year of construction of the mosque.
Call the Haci Bayram Mosque in the old town, Ulus, Ankara. The old mosque was built in the early 15th century in honor of Haci Bayram Veli, a local Sufi figure.
The mosque was repaired by the Ottoman architects, Mimar Sinan, in the 16th century, with the addition of tiles from Kutahya in the 18th century. Until now, beginning in the morning, there are people who leave for work or school stopping by, praying outside the tomb of Haci Bayram located next to the mosque.
