I just get the feeling he's one of the greatest grifters to have ever lived, and most of his shenanigans are just covert long cons.
Maybe he knows Tesla is overvalued beyond even future projected performance (given significant incoming competition) and just wants an excuse to take some money off the table there and go into something for his next long con profit play. 👐
