In late March of this year the UK government worked with SAGE (Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies) to produce a document entitled "Options for increasing adherence to social distancing measures".
In this document they outlined measures which could be utilised in "achieving behaviour change".
I will link to the document so that you can download it yourself at the bottom of this article.
It's quite a frightening document to read, despite the fact it's clear to many that 'psychological operations' are prevalent in countries Worldwide, it's so brazenly patronising in the way it's written. It amounts to discussing the populace as if they are small children that need to be told how to behave and that it's their duty to use whatever means necessary to make them behave in a manner of their choosing.
The emphasis of this document is that they want to achieve a behavioural change that embraces the concept of "social distancing".
"The perceived level of personal threat needs to be increased among those who are complacent, using hard-hitting emotional messaging"
Is just one example of the tone of this document. Here they advocate using emotional manipulation methods in order to get a particular response.
The most alarming section, that I wanted to highlight in particular, is a list of options that could be utilised to achieve their behavioural goals, and their likely effectiveness. Listing variables such as "affordability", of which the examples below were amusingly listed as "HIGH" in that regard:
I think it goes without saying that this is about the most obvious evidence that behavioural consultants work with think tanks and big government, who in turn use the media (at a very affordable rate) to influence and manipulate the populace. Presumably all paid for by the very people they seek to manipulate! But of course, it's for our own good. Right?
