What am I doing before I haven't known about steemit?
I had also tried being a captcha encoder but, it was not worth the effort since it is does not pay much. In captcha encoding my earnings where in satoshi, satoshi is the smallest fraction of a bitcoin which is valued at 0.00000001 BTC. Since my efforts aren't paid well, I had stopped being one.
Another thing that I had tried was to look for bitcoin faucets, but then again the rewards that i got was still in satoshi. I know that it wouldnt be enough to depend in this faucets for long term.
Who had told me about it?
I immediately created an account knowing that I will be earning from posting something. The great thing I could never forget that he said was, "In facebook, no matter how many likes your posts gets, you earn nothing, in steemit you will earn from the likes you get and you will get truthful feedback for it."
This really motivated me more about this platform but since account verification takes long, I need to wait. I got really excited each day afterI had signed up, first thing that I did each day was to check for the verification mail. It took roughly about 2 weeks before I got a confirmation mail. After that, I immediately created an introductory post and I was so happy that it was voted by a man with a great heart @surpassinggoogle.
After that I tried to post something each day, but it was not the same with my introductory post. My posts only get a roughly estimate of about $0.005 - $0.01 worth of votes before. I kind of felt sad and disappointed since I thought it would be like my first post, but I just thought of being positive and just improve the quality of my posts.
What I did to achieve what I have now?
My first biggest achievement before was winning a banner contest, after that a drought again for my posts, I never really had big payouts before. I even tried bidding my rewards from the banner contests to a bid bot. I earned some profit from bidding but It would not last for long term if I could not get regularly a good amount of payout.
However, things changed when I had known about Utopian.io even after 7 rejections to get my first approved post, I can say that my efforts are very worth it. It gave me a boost to what I had achieved now and very thankful for it. After I got some good amount of payouts from it, to live up with my reputation, I started practicing to make quality contents.
I practiced posting everyday, contributing at utopian and posting in steemit. I made that as a goal till now to always post something a day. And that did really help, with my dedication to succeed I always give my all in my posts, so that the readers would really know that I put much effort in making it.
Im also thankful to meet @dynamicgreentk, a man with great ambitions especially in helping minnows like me. Then he introduced me in his community @dynamicsteemians together with @dynamicrypto hand in hand in making this community that helps to unite worldwide steemians as one community. It is the time I really got a huge boost, I quickly became an ambassador in the group and have been making the graphics works in here. Now I am a tenured professor in this group helping the members know more about utopian since its the thing I got quite some knowledge now.
What traits should someone have to succeed in Steemit?
For me, this are some of the traits that would really help you to achieve what you want and also succeed.
Patience. You need to have this trait since you never know when your posts are going to soar high, just always give it some time to give effort in making your post and eventually you will get the audience that you wanted to have.
Dedication. You need to dedicate yourself in making your posts to let them know that you are really doing with a heart, you can really see and differentiate posts that have given much effort and not. Having posts like this will give you truthful opinion about it. And in steemit posts that are of great quality and with dedication are always well curated.
Hardwork. This is a another must have trait especially when you want to please others. You need to work hard and make your posts to be of great quality in order for you to reap the reward. Its not easy to make one and so this needs hardwork to improve it and master it.
Also, being lucky does help you here, luck in terms of getting an audience that would like the quality of your posts and will be wanting to see for more. Being lucky to have someone that you never know but loves your content that much. And lucky to be with people that will never stop to support you because they see that you have what it takes to give valuable content for the community.
