I am excited to bring this first ULOG from me to update you all that I just completed 300 days on Steemit!!
Here is the screenshot I captured to confirm this and I am happy to be one among you all and keep writing my daily blogs, occasional sports reviews and updates on the technologies I used.
There were bad days but mostly good days as for as me concerned on Steemit.
It all started last September when I was introduced to Steemit by @composer, who happened to be an user of experts-exchange.com where I answer the questions and provide solutions and @composer was looking for some help on Oracle software installation.
Here is my introduction post to Steemit. You can see how less I had written, because I wasn't much into blogging at that time!!
Since that day in last September, I have come a long way to complete 300 days with getting to know many Steemians who have provided their guidance, love in form of their upvotes and comments.
My steemit activities since joining, got more excited when I was selected to be one of the #stewardsofgondor, a program by now most of you know and that is the program to delegate his hard earned Steem Power to many Steemians by @fulltimegeek as part of #stewardsofgondor program and gave an opportunity to improve my skills of utilizing the Steem Power in a better way and led me to be friends with awesome Steemians who were members of SOG program. This is what I wrote to say Thank You to one of the nice persons on Steemit, i.e. Mr. @fulltimegeek.
And that was the beginning of more exposure to me as I started participating in the Curation Leagues from @abh12345 which got more exposure to me to many people who writes comments as if that day is the end of world!!! and people who keep curating good contents.
That also made me to get introduced to #newbieresteemday through one of the nicest Steemians I have come across, @davemccoy and the team of #newbieresteemday.
I would like to mention here that, @davemccoy has kept the #stewardsofgondor program alive through the program #friendsofgondor, an autovote curation trail using steemauto.com which is being supported by the creator of #stewardsofgondor, @fulltimegeek and the members of the team SOG along with many Steemians who would like to support the good cause the SOG's have done.
I guess by that time I had completed about 100 days on Steemit and my first 3 months had already taught me a lot.
I had attained a reputation of 60 by the time I completed 150 days thanks to all the interactions and upvotes which followed because of those interactions and here is an update I published on the same.
Gradually I started to get more and more visitors to my blogs and even the interactions got increased.
While it took 150 days to achieve a reputation of 60 from 25, in these next 150 days, I have gained a reputation of 2.3 as it shows in above screenshot i.e. 62.3 in 300 days and that shows earning reputation from 60 and above takes a lot of effort from us.
That made me to join many communities like @GuideSteemit, @qurator, @esteem, @stach and the latest one being @fundition.
Each of those have their own specialties.
#GuideSteemit gave me an opportunity to be friends with people like @c0ff33a, @yandot, @brotherhood and the owner of that channel @guidesteemit.
@qurator membership gave me the confidence to write more worry free blogs by guiding me on the usage of images which are royalty free and also provided their daily upvotes to boost my posts.
@esteem or @esteemapp has been biggest motivator to me along with @busy.org as those gave me the additional boosts on usage of their platform and off late, I have been working as a Curator of eSteem app thanks to @good-karma and moderators like @yandot, @horpey, @jznsamuel etc.
@stach is another community which keeps it's members engaged through conversations and conducts daily curation on the posts submitted them and conducts lots of fun quizzes, predictions and many more which are definitely fun.
And to tell about the last one i.e @fundition, I just started to explore on that a few days back as I got to know about that community through one of the posts I curated recently as part of my work as a eSteem curator and I have been a fan of that community for the love they are spreading through their Discord channel and member posts.
Lastly, off late, it's the ULOGS which are ruling Steemit thanks to the initiator @surpassinggoogle and hence, I would like to be one among that growing list of members of ULOGS and hence this ULOG.
This is my first #ULOG and hence any suggestions or comments are welcome to improve myself as an #ULOGGER.
There are many who have contributed to the success of me and this blog will keep getting bigger if I have to remember all of those guys, so, in short, I would like to say a BIG Thank You to all those people.
So, that sums up my 300 days on Steemit and I am looking forward to many more exciting days and hope to make even more friends.
