Hello!!! I haven't written #Ulog for the past few days, ugh been thinking of stuff though. But I just wanna share our first experience dining at Marugame Udon and Tempura. So every time I passed by at Bonifacio High Street in BGC I always noticed the long line in this restaurant. And it leaves a curiosity in my mind, "Does the food is really good??" I bet it has an expensive price because it seems to have a fine Japanese Restaurant. So last Monday I and @stuffcams met and decided to eat. Actually, the original plan is to eat Ramen, but when we passed Marugame it made us curious. And without further ado, we fall in line and decided to try their food.

As I mentioned a while ago, there was a line before you could enter the restaurant. So as we fall in line we looked at the menu for us to have an Idea what to order. I've been fond of Japanese foods a few years ago. I didn't love it at first, I mean it's just okay. But the more I ate and explore their food unconsciously I was already falling in love with their dishes. Going back, we wanted to try their Udon. I love Udon!! I read back then that Udon is healthier compared to Ramen, but come on both of them are delicious so don't let me choose one. Finally, we decided to choose Beef Ontama Bukkake Udon

Aside from udon, they also offer rice meals such as Katsudon, Beef Yaki, and gyudon. And can you believe that the pricing is somehow affordable? It has a similar pricing withNadai Fujisoba's Udon.
Finally, we're almost at the peak of the line. A few minutes later we enter the restaurant and bam! We found out why people line up outside. It has a typical self-serving process.

It was Sogoi!!!! It wasn't your typical Japanese restaurant where you just sit and wait for the waiter hihi. The experience had been exciting so far!! As we wait for our turn, I noticed that they played Japanese songs in the resto. But the song is very familiar, hmmm. Then I found out that it was Nandemonaiya from the soundtrack of the Anime movie Kimi no nawa but only a different version but still. AAAAAHHHHH I wanna cry that time. Huhu.
Then it's our turn, first, they asked us what's our chosen dish then I told him Beef Ontama Bukkake Hot please. I mentioned Hot because my chosen Udon can be hot or cold. He prepared the noodle, put some beef and the soup. It was amazing to see how they prepare your food. After the process, he handed me the tray. As I walk further I saw the side dishes, there were Chicken Karaage, Ebi Ten Tempura, gyoza and so much more. So I just get 2 pieces of Ebi Ten Tempura and headed to the cashier. Cams also ordered the same but she had Ebi Ten and Gyoza for her side dish. We move forward and reach the cashier where we will pay for our food.

Presenting Marugame's Beef Ontama Bukkake Hot Udon. As you can see, it has the Udon wherein the very thick noodle, it has an egg and a huge amount of beef. I added green onions and fried crumbs in my Udon. Then added a soy sauce for my Ebi Ten Tempura. Let the food tasting begin!!!!

I am so glad that upon tasting the food it doesn't disappoint me. It was so delicious!!!! The beef was well cooked and the soup is the best when you mixed the egg. I guess I had a new favorite restaurant already. All in all, our food costs us P740.00 pesos (for the both of us)
But here are the prices of our food
Beef Ontama Bukkake (Large)- P 260.00
Ebi Ten Tempura- P60.00 per piece
Gyoza- P40.00 per piece
The next time I visit the said resto, (And definitely I will come back) I wanted to try their Cold Udon. Yay!!
After that, we headed to Tim Hortons to grab some refreshments and continue our stories hehe
