After the tiger Bonita was successfully evacuated from the location of the conflict in Indragiri Hilir District (Inhil), another Tiger has now appeared. Endangered wildlife entered into residential areas.
The Sumatran tiger entered the settlement of Teluk Nibung Village, Pulau Burung District. It is estimated that the tiger has been in and out of the village for almost a month.
"We have received reports from the local village head that there are tigers in and out of the village. The team we have sent to the location," said Head of the Riau Center for Natural Resources (BBKSDA), Suharyono told reporters on Thursday (09/20/2018).

"The team along with the community traced the traces of the tiger. In the location we found a Sumatran tiger," said Haryono.

"We also ask local residents not to hunt, or injure or kill protected animals. The team is studying to take alternative steps related to it," Haryono concluded.
