#Ulog is such a brilliant idea! It is an answer to all our content struggles. Anyone who'd say that there's nothing extra special with their day is actually telling a lie! Here's my ULOG entry for today!
#ULOG S2018E059: bitLanders Payment for July 10
Woke up today with a surprise notification on my mobile phone! bitLanders just sent a payment worth $50! I requested redemption last July 10th.
Unfortunately, PayPal takes out a huge $2.5 for the transaction fees.
It took more than a week before I receive this amount and I guess this is because they are working on something on the site. For the past few weeks, there have been delays in the blog reviews and some glitches which normally happens every now and then but one thing is sure, they do pay their users!
I still have another pending payment which I requested for cash out on the 16th, that was six days after I requested this new payment.
Four years ago, I was introduced to bitLanders by my brother @jjeeppeerrxx143 while I was still working in the United Arab Emirates. It was still paying in Bitcoin and so it was what opened me to cryptocurrencies. I was earning a lot of BTC at that time, unfortunately, no one told me to HODL so I cashed out everything! Imagine my heartbreak when its value reached a million pesos! Anyway, regrets are the only thing I can do by that time because bitLanders stopped paying in BTC and just stick to their own bitMiles which is convertible to PayPal funds.
Aside from this payment, I also received two blog reviews. One for a romantic comedy Thai movie I watched last week and another one for TienDA.
While Steemit allows publishing of blogs at any given time with no restriction on the number of contents, bitLanders, on the other hand, requires each user to send their blogs for submission before it can be publicly published. A requirement fee of 10 gems ($1 something) to submit a content and a few guidelines listed to get stars. Five stars are the biggest review rate which will give huge direct buzz points.
My favorite thing about bitLanders is the avatar. I can be stylish with it by dressing it to anything that I feel like wearing. Here's my costume for today:
