Over the past 2 days I have read some interesting posts. Reading post gives you a lot of information and ideas.
@thedarkhorse and his post. I met the darkhorse months back through a contest from @tarazkp that we both entered. It is amazing how one small ripple in a vast ocean can make a difference. The darkhorse started a small contest on his own that has turned into Pay It Forward Curation Contest (pifc), to what it is today.
The second post you need to know about is the User Authority. The user authority might replace the way reputation is figured in order to give you your reputation score. My current reputation is 56.19 which is ranked at 10992. My score under User Authority is 3.315 and ranked 7436. Here is what @paulag had to say in response to my comments in the post.
The current rep system has been gamed. All you have to do is use bidbots with a higher rep than you. There is a need for something better. And yes, that is well inside the top 10% as there are well over 1m accounts now

The Third and final comment I would like to say
- The response I have received in reference to my absent has been unbelievable. I can not thank you enough. most of the things I do here is behind the curtain. Things you will never see and can only be measured by the improvement of others. I look at my roll as support to others. I will give you a little more detail of what I am going through so you can have a better understanding of why my time is limited here for a bit.
To start off with I am 100% disabled vet and have been so for a while. The only thing that can be done is treat the system, or the organs that fail. Liver Test came back very bad, twice. So now we are in the process of making sure its the liver and not the gallbladder. This week will be one test after another until it is narrowed down. The problem is that I have been vaccinated or exposed to everything known to man.
I have to be back at the hospital in six hours. A blood test and a sit down with all the doctors. I have been seeing these doctors for the past 5 years and they have a good handle on my history.
