My elementary teacher once explained her favorite quote that every cloud has a silver lining, which just means that we should never feel sad because difficult times always lead to better days
The past typhoon Ompong, internationally known as Mangkhut, left a terrible mark to our country, the Philippines, and to other neighborinh countries as well.
But on a personal level, it left us a great deal of work to do.
Furnitures and appliances and what-nots, piled papers and what-nots, dried leaves and all needed to be attended to.
As we were cleaning in and around the house, it made me realize a general cleaning in and around the house might be the silver lining of this Ompong cloud. The entire house seemed like it just took a good clean bath. Lol.
Gone were those piled papers and all, those rusty furnitures, those souvenir and what-nots that I can't seem to throw away because of "sentimental value".
Hahaha, yes, Ompong helped me declutter.
We were tired from all the cleaning alright. But it feels everythings on restart. Starting anew to a more organized house.
