Access to critical medical diagnostic services is typically dictated by three things :-
1) the mobility/portability of the device
2) accessibility to expertise in the analysis and determination of data plus of course...
3) money
We believe access to good health care and medical advances is a basic human right - it benefits individual, communities, countries and our species and as part of our token offering, we aim to donate our invention in the first instance, to those in greatest need but we also recognise its potential for the 'developed' world.
We've designed a prototype of what will become, a pen-sized ultrasound scanner ( that hits the portability challenge ), paired with an AI / AR virtual assistant ( which deals with the lack of available clinicians ), at a target cost < $600.
As of today, : we've proven the prototype, patent has been submitted, we've won a prestigious innovation competition, we're about to set up the company, will launch a website Sept 15th and plan to crowdfund (ICO) late October so... planning the smart contract.
One open question for me is :
