Patterns and the Universe
In the study of psychology there is great discussion and research done into understanding patterns and their role in human behavior, mental energy, and the psyche. Understanding patterns is critical as patterns are prevalent in both nature and the focused efforts of men. Patterns represent recurrence and regularity within the universe, unilaterally occurring on every scale. Their constant influence is indeed subject to the realm of mathematics, as patterns are the manifestation of mathematics in that they represent the same constant quantity that both possess- they are forever the same no matter where you observe them from. Something that is constant within the universe is in essence something divine- it is immutable and permanent, a column supporting the functioning and operating qualities of the Universe. It is interesting to ponder how patterns by essence are designs and how their repetitive persistence is indeed so forceful and inspiring. Patterns can easily be described as high frequency, in that the regularities inherent of patterns represent recurrence. Consciousness, in it being the result of constant mental energy is itself a high frequency pattern. It requires constant reactionary motions to stimulate neurons into producing emergent behavioral results. The final product is the thinking, feeling, and sapient ability of the human mind. [This is the divine energy of the Universe, an ever present vital life energy that all conscious things possess. This energy is emergent and apparent within all aspects across every scale macrocosmic and microcosmic in cause and effect and action within the Universe as resulting to manifest as a conscious and godlike existential ultimatum. This ultimatum is the Consciousness of the Universe- as a self organizing pattern it is ultimately what every pattern develops into; every pattern is a manifestation of godlike energy from being part of the grand self emanating design of the Universe. By being a part of the whole it is able to reveal quantifiable elements of that grand system by measure of scale.]
To say that god made man in his image is a quite accurate statement outside Christian considerations. An image is a pattern- it represents regularities in geometric markings and coloration to produce the final production- a depiction of art which is perceived by the mind as a particular pattern. If we understand patterns to be mathematical entities, factors, conditions, and variables within the universe we can certainly attest to consciousness being a pattern of the human mind and its mental processes. By having consciousness we are representing manifesting designs, unilateral in occurrence within the Universe. Indeed one can look at consciousness as being even beyond that and representing the tying together of patterns that occur within the various disciplines of science and nature, coming together as a synchronous, holistic, and unifying characteristic of those emergent processes.
Fractals: Relation between geometry of Fractals and the Universe
Patterns appear in many forms. While a pattern consists of forms, a form within itself does not necessarily have to be a pattern. A pattern can more easily be identified as being a collection of forms. Form is important to understanding patterns, especially in mathematical considerations. Within nature patterns will manifest in chaotic ways, but usually have underlying structure to their forms. The most common form found within natural patterns is the fractal. Fractal forms are dominant because they are the natural expression of self-recursive (that is to say self replicating and repeating) behavior physically manifested. Looking at a fractal form you will find it to be a highly complex configuration of simpler and more basic geometric forms. These forms are self similar- they resemble either in true reproduction or similar construct their whole. This is a byproduct of the self-replicating characteristics that are remarkable of fractal forms.
Fractals, in essence, imitate the outline of the Universe- a scale of smaller variables giving way to larger and more prominent processes. It represents the continence of duality that penetrates all processes within the Universe. That is because duality- a form of symmetry- is a pattern. It is easier to grasp this understanding if we interpret patterns as being quantifiable qualities in the observable universe. Something quantifiable can only be so if there is a conscious aspect analyzing and validating the characteristic itself. It’s a process that reflects the diametrical universal trait in many ways- in essence reflecting the continence of duality as it manifests itself within nature. In order to quantify thing’s there must be an observer and an observation made- the observation serving as the validation. If an inanimate object exists, how would it ever know? Consciousness is unique in that it allows otherwise inanimate thing’s in their own right (matter as it comprises the various parts of the human body separately) to be aware of itself and its surroundings. Consciousness is taken for granted because everyone is conscious, and there is no known way to observe consciousness outside the context of being a conscious entity. It is a unique paradox that in a way draws parallels with the concept of duality.
