Greeting to all steemians and you all reading this post here from others soical platform
This is my firat post for the year because i and my team have been so tired down getting ready for our forth coming steem promo event coming this june tagged STEEMCAMP NIGERIA
Preparing the whitepapar and post for @steemcamp, i wasn't able to write on my own blog because i experienced writer block
But today, i decided to make my first post and also merge it with @surpassinggoogle #untalented-adjustments.

Before i proceed, I want to wiss everyone a happy Steem year

2017 was a great supernatural transformation and adjustment in my life. its like the dream come true and that also affected how my family look at me now.

January last year, i was packing my bags to go serve my country leaving delta state to kaduna (From South to North)

This brought fear to my family and there was no much finance to support me with in terms of accommodation and welfare at the same time, my other was preparing to get operated in the hospital theatre in Lagos after surviving a sever fire burn accident in 2016. My mother asked me to sell the car i was using so i could support myself in Kaduna.

Getting to Kaduna state, i felt more discourage due to the fact that the entertainment section was very poor, it was a challenge making new friends due to tribal and religion difference. I also lost several event and duplicity contract from delta due to the distance.

I wasn't even looking forward to host any event, i was looking for how to survive in an unknown town without calling home for financial support

Since no monthly allowance was coming from my office ( Place of primary assignment). not event or entertainment job, i picked up my blog and also engaged in some ponzi sites and group which took the last fund i had.

The Amazing adjustment - My first Month on Steemit.com

I got into steemit via a ponzi group inviting bloggers to a platform were we earn by posting online. Trust me i qucikly clicked the Join button

To cut everything short, the first month on steemit was very terrible because the guy who brought us to the platform became dormant which made 80% of registered members discouraged.

For me, i wasn't and new there was something good about it. after making mutiple online research, i knew it was impossible to see @jerrybanfield have so much trafic talking about steemit and there was also high positive response.

With the eagerness to succeed on this platform, i created a group which @destinysaid , @gbenga, @ehiboss and @onequality joined after sharing the invitation link on my blog.
That was how my life changed on steemit and same with others members of the group.

@destinysaid began to open my eyes revealing so many achievable project with was a probability without steemit. I began to understand that steem platform was not just a place to post and disturb others to upvote your post.

It's like begging your friends to like your post on facebook and instagram.
Understanding that relationship was more important to steemians, i began to involve myself in different competition, selfless support to minnows and also trying to bring people into steemit.

Posting poetry and games to get upvote looked like i was playing my game well also seeing my reputation increase. At this stage, I wasn't having financial challenge but there was another Adjustment when i participated in Blue Wave mentorship class by @Ogochukwu.

This Mentorship class refined my thinking and approach towards achieving success as an entertainer and life general.
He made a statement that i keep on tell other steemians who looked up to me.

Your blog is your CV

Meaning its FckED up when i tell you i am a brand promoter and and a blockchain entertainer, then you come to my blog, you will see gaming post or other niche that do not reflect i as an entertainer.

After celebrating my 400 mile stone of followers, i decide to channel my time towards promoting steem to my local community where i was serving and to the world at large.
But i could really achieve this without seeing others who inspired me.

Steem promotional Adjustment

Chatting with @ejemai of @stach was another big Adjustment i encountered towards the end of last year. I call him my mentor and also flash black n how he always advice me to validate myself instead of waiting for others to validate me. He says

MIchael, you are a blockchain entertainer as you call yourself. keep doing what you have to do and don't expect anyone to praise you. Just do your thing and support will come from where you never thought of.

That was the mindset i had when i was hosting my first Offline Steem Meetup event in Kaduna. See video below and photos here

I was able to achieve this as an entertainer and paid for expenses from my post rewards.
We had somany people who joined steemit via this event which gave birth to my team member @casweeney who is a web designer
So 2017 had a great end for me and my team. Steem platform improved my life and those connected to me. Vice versa.

2018 is going to be a better year for i and my team.

After understanding what steem platfrom means and what it needs to be a better place for us all. Promoting steem and other steem related brand like @appics, @adsactly @busy.org @vice.org and others coming after the birth of SMT, We will focus of spreading steem gospel all over the world using our talents and skills. That's why We @block7events will be kickstarting this epoch event tagged Steemcamp hosting in Nigeria.

This event will break records in the crypto eco-system and also be a big Life Adjustment to entertainners in underdeveloped and developing countries all around the world.. i wont be able to talk much on this until the release of our first post on @steemcamp blog.
