UF: Welcome Rob! Thank you so much for coming all the way from Venus XII.
Jenkins: Thanks for having me! Never could I have refused this invitation! Approaching Lightsaber was once again breathtaking. I’ll never get used to it. These rings, it's enchanting.
UF: Haha, yeah, we hear that often from our guests. Unfortunately, we don't make it up in the orbit so often ourselves. So tell us Rob, there was quite a buzz about the deployment of UF’s new Harmony fleet. How did our customers respond to that?
Jenkins: Our customers' response was absolutely overwhelming! Everyone immediately realized that the new Explorers will enable us to discover new deposits faster and more economically than ever before. And our customers know that they can rely on us to pass on cost savings to them.
UF: Sounds fantastic. So we heard that there is even more to reveal today.
Jenkins: Absolutely! There is one more thing! We've always taken pride in being able to deliver on even the most specific needs of our customers. Depending on their operations they all have different requirements on the processing stage of our products. Take our top-notch Uranium Z11 for example. Some of our customers need it as semi-enriched bulk, others require it as further refined powder or pellets and again others buy it from us as ready-made fuel rods. We cover all these needs, but so far the whole processing and manufacturing has taken place after delivery from the mines in our ground facilities. So I’m thrilled to announce today that our next generation of Transporters will have state-of-the-art, heavy-duty processing facilities ON BOARD! This will enable us to carry out 80% of all necessary refinement already during transport to our customers. Isn’t this mind-blowing?
UF: Wow, that's most impressive indeed! But how was the problem with radiation exposure during processing solved? After all, we have teams on board.
Jenkins: No, we don’t! Not anymore! And that is the real news I have the pleasure to reveal today. Thanks to the pioneering work of Dr. Yoichi and her team the ship-bound processing and the Transporters themselves run with entirely autonomous robotic infrastructure. And the best thing, our robots even absorb the radiation and convert it into thermal energy. An additional cost saver. Crazy, isn’t?
UF: That's truly amazing, Rob! This will give us entirely new possibilities to satisfy the wishes of our customers and to deliver right on production. Congratulations to Dr. Yoichi and her team for this outstanding achievement.
Jenkins: I'll tell her. You really need to try inviting her over. A truly impressive person.
UF: Oh, we are on it since a while already. She has a tight schedule though.
Jenkins: You can say that again. Try to lure her in with Pandorian Kapa 'ohi. Apparently her only weakness.
