Benefits / Improvements
It was designed with a very different idea from the classic logo design used in backup programs. Although it not a generic design but when a user first sees this logo; he/she can be easily understood that it is an application that serves as a professional backup application.
The "SMS" icon was designed like a case. On this page it is understood that this program is related to sms and it is a function that stores them. New logo is clearly understood. Also the designed like a case because of that symbolizes both safety (why we get "back up" ? because we want our information in safe in safety place) and profesional worker..
I think so this new logo is not generic view but understandable also carries application name and functions on itself..
