Let's make our steemit profile picture to be larger. I propose to give the picture more highlights by enlarging it to give a better view of the people behind the account.
This is what my steemit profile looks like with my steemit profile pic with the red arrow, and the description detail about me enclosing with the yellow box, and lastly the cover image which you can see as the background of everything, in my case it was a footer.
As you can see the profile picture seems small to really see closely the image of the person.
and because all were placed in the center it overlaps with your cover image. Blocking sometimes the image behind.
I believe that being on steemit is a better way to express ourselves, to share knowledge and to showcase our talents, and it's worth following someone that you can see his/her face better and know not just by the post he/she was making but also the picture of himself/herself.
I know some of you wanted to be anonymous but would it be nice if you know the real face of who you were following. We are all real people here and even the bots have people behind it.
It would be much convincing for every account to easily follow because you see what they look like as if you see them in person.
Just like what facebook did in the profile picture of their user. And they made it to the top because it caught the interest of the crowd - To see the face of every people they're visiting.
In this way, people can able to easily connect with each other just by seeing profile pics.
I believe that steemit has very promising future just like other social media sites. So let's adapt what others have and make steemit more better with this proposal
Lets start with this

- All were aligned to the left side of the screen
- profile pic,
- account username
- the reputation value
- details about yourself
- number of followers
- number of posts
- number of users followed
- country
- date joined - The profile picture becomes bigger for better viewing of the person behind the account.
- The user's name and reputation were placed above the profile picture.
- The details including (details about the person owning the account, number of followers, number of posts, number of people following, country and the date of joining were all placed below the profile picture.
This is my proposed appearance of the profile.
In this proposal, it will give more space to the cover image to really beautify the profile.
You can now use some awesome image reflecting yourself, your ideas and all other things that make your profile look more convincing to follow.
Because of the bigger photo of the profile picture you can now see more closely the face of who you were following and allowing you to know also the face of your follower. Interesting isn't it? LOL
CONCLUSION
The community is what really gives value to steemit. Furthermore, we need to build a good relationship with each other. We're no longer strangers here, we supposed to be family here in steemit. We might come from a different country but what matters is we share the same interest. - We have something to offer to everybody. So let's be genuine of who we really are and to whatever we do, let's be real!
Let's show our face to everybody and let us not be shy, We are all family here!
