Introduction
Hi there, welcome to another review of a unique game application.
Even when I hadn't gotten a phone, I already had a list of game apps which I'll download in the future. That alone shows you how passionate I am for games. Except from playing music, playing games is another thing I'm good at.
I have reviewed a few game applications, and in today's review, I'll be discussing one of the puzzle games which I believe to be adventurous and educative. I'll be reviewing a game called Rabbit Escape.
About a month ago, I found a blog about this game app and decided to download the game. Before I downloaded the game app, I went through the app's GitHub repository to gain full knowledge of the game. Then I proceeded by downloading and installing the game app.
What is Rabbit Escape about?
Rabbit Escape is a mobile and desktop puzzle game inspired by Lemmings and Pingus in which you must rescue some rabbits from a hostile environment by giving them special abilities.
The first working android version of the game app is version 0.2, and it was released with 60 levels of the game. It works on Android and PCs running Linux, Windows, and Mac (and probably other computers that can run Java). Since then, there has been a lot of releases and updates.
The latest version of the game app is version 0.13, it was released on the 20th March 2019. In the last version, the PO added the super-easy level. If you find Rabbit Escape too hard in the past, you should try out this super-easy level.
You can download this latest version by clicking on this Link.
The Rabbit Escape Game
After all the information above, I think I should take more time to explain the game. The game is easy and at the same time, it's somewhat difficult.
The game has 10 difficulty levels, and each of these levels has 20 levels embedded in them. This means that there's a total of 200 levels. Woah! I must admit that I haven't seen any game which has that many levels. Quite adventurous, right?
I know you may be wondering how you'll play such a game which has many levels but don't worry; we'll get to that. For every level of the game, the players are told what their aim should be and are also given a hint on how to achieve the goal (rescue the rabbits).
When I launched the game, I was curious to know what the game was like. I clicked on 'Easy' which is the first difficulty level in the game. Afterwards, I selected the first and only available level (Digging Practice). There was an info on the screen which explained the aim of the game, the total number of rabbits in the game, the minimum number of rabbits that should be saved, and a hint to help me.
I clicked on the start button and started the game. As the first level under the easy difficulty, it was easy to play. I kept on playing the game (due to how interesting it was) and whenever it seemed difficult or I failed, I'll just use of the hint feature which will tell me how to go about it.
Remember that in this game, the player gives the rabbits special abilities leading them to their escape. These special abilities include abilities like digging, building ladders, climbing walls, etc. Don't worry at all; once you've downloaded the game app, you'll gain more knowledge on how to play it. However, trust me when I say it's interesting and needs the user to be somewhat strategical.
What do you benefit?
Most time when I play games, my friends will be like "Christopher, what do you gain from these games you play?". I never answered them because I didn't know how to explain myself. However, I had my answers. If you're also wondering what you can gain from playing this game then you'll get my opinion.
To be specific, the Rabbit Escape Game is a puzzle game which needs strategies. When playing this game, it helps expand the player's mind/thoughts. When the game gets difficult, the player has to find a strategy to endeavor that the rabbits are saved. I know it's a game but believe me when I say that a 10-year-old kid who can play a game like the Rabbit Escape will be able to solve life challenges. In conclusion, playing a game like the Rabbit Escape helps the players to think outside the box (in reality). The Rabbit Escape game builds smarter brains/minds.
Conclusion
The Rabbit Escape game is a very good game for the mind and it has been helping me a lot with thinking. This is the exact type of game which my children will play to make them smarter.
