Before explaining "how did I get 64% discount on Grammarly Premium", here is some background that made me write this post.
What is Grammarly?
Grammarly is a well-known grammar checking tools among writers, bloggers & students to check, detect and correct grammar related issues.
If we are writing an important email or a thesis then, making simple grammar error like spelling and punctuation sometimes become very costly. Proofreading thousand of words manually is very painful and has a very high chance of missing these errors. This is where Grammarly comes in hand.
This software is available in freemium and premium version, and the free version works fine a lot of time. But, if you need options like advanced grammar checking and plagiarism checking etc., you will need Grammarly premium.
However, if you look at the pricing of Grammarly, it's a little expensive for a new or occasional user [$29.95 for a monthly plan and $139.95 for a yearly plan] but it worth the price if you are a regular writer or blogger.
Initially, I was not sure if it was a good idea to pay that much of amount for Grammarly premium but I wanted to test it. It wasn't easy but somehow I managed the Grammarly premium free trial for 1-month.
Grammarly premium was fun and, I started to write some small content/posts. But, after a 1-month premium trial expired, couldn't feel like I could afford Grammarly premium paying a full price. I had to stick with the free version. But, suddenly something hit my email, a "64% discount on Grammarly premium upgrade".
Ya... Now, I just have to pay $4 for Grammarly premium per month. 😄
This is exactly what I needed and, I wanted to share this so that someone like me can get the benefit.
Here are the steps that provide me 64% off on Grammarly Premium:
- First, Go to Grammarly.com
- Click on "Add to Chrome it's free" or "Add to Firefox it's free" option. You will be redirected to Grammarly signup page.
- Register for Grammarly free account.
- Verify your email.
- Within 2 -3 days, Grammarly will send you an email with a 64% discount offer to upgrade in the premium plan.
- Upgrade from this offer and enjoy your writing.
Again, Grammarly free version works fine for normal users but, if you have ever thought of trying Grammarly premium, this is the time.
