My love for frostwire torrent downloader is massive and it is for several features this app possesses. It's an online music downloader with swift speed and that combines both audio and video player. It is simple and easy to use hence widely adopted. It has a lock screen feature which allows users to control song play (ie pause, play and next) while the phone is locked. However, the "previous" button is lacking on the lock screen feature, this means users can not take a particular song back without having to unlock the device.
Proposal
If there is a "next" button, I suggest there should also be a button to take users back to the previous song. Developers should consider this need and meet it. I strongly believe users and lovers of this application would find this feature very interesting as the stress of having to unlock your device just to replay a favourite song would be eased.
Mockups / Examples
The first screen shot below shows the buttons available on the lockcreen option and proof that the afore suggested feature is missing. While the second screen shot shows an example of where this feature could be better placed on the app.
The below image shows exactly where the suggested button should be placed to make the app more exciting.
Benefits
The role this feature would play is exclusive to the suggested button. It will help users go back to previous songs on queue without them having to unlock the screen of their devices. On the other hand, this feature would satisfy users need thereby attracting more users to the frostwire brand. In other words, it seek to be beneficial to both users and the brand.
