Kolab notes is a note taking application and it is fully an open source software with a very swift, simple and easy to use interface. However, the developers of this application need to update it with an amazing feature as stated on this post.
Proposal
Developers should consider adding the sketch/paint tab to this beautiful application for more smartness. This option is necessary on any software as this because it allows users to create basic graphic design. Users can sketch and paint in color or black and white to depict whatever is intended. This feature can also be used to make curved line and shaped stencils. Adding this feature to kolab notes would make this app stand out as the suggested feature only exists on a very few similar applications.
Mockups / Examples
The paint/sketch button should be added somewhere around the text button as displayed on the first screen shot below. When clicked on the paint/sketch button, users should be able to take notes with the sketch/paint format. See sample on the second and third screen shots below.
Sketches can be made in different colors and sizes to depict what is intended.
Benefits
This feature would make the kolab app more of unique. Manipulations and basic drawing can be achieved using the suggested feature. It allows users to make simple sketches to portray the idea they are trying to note. It can also be used as artistic design to compliment texts. Having a feature as this would also help users perfect a work. Kolab notes would be more advanced with this feature.
