Introduction

I have a page on my Facebook profile which i created with the sole aim of promoting open source projects that i believe will help out by promoting them into the community. I named this page Promotion Page. For this project, i decided to promote ownCloud. The reason i promoted ownCloud and want people to hear about it is because ownCloud gives it users a straightforward way to file sync and share data.Users do not need to worry about where or how to access their files. Users have all their data where ever they are and they can access them on all devices and at any time. ownCloud is hosted exclusively on users own private server, which means their data is under their control. Everybody loves and wants privacy, ownCloud is all about users privacy and it works to protect users files. Users can access everything they Care about and share them on their own terms.

Audience

My targeted audience is Women and Men living in Nigeria- Lagos State, Federal Capital Territory, Rivers State, Oyo State, Ogun State, Abia State, Cross River State, Adamawa State with age range between 18-65 and above.

Activity

I published a post about ownCloud. In my post i briefly explained ownCloud, i also shared a link which will take readers to the features of owncloud(advantages of using it) and server where readers can download it on their preferred device. After this, i decided to promote the post so that it will reach a wider number of audience. This promotion ran for 1 day. My total budget for this promotion was 1400.00 NGN. and I spent ₦1,400.00 NGN. At the end of the promotion the post had 1,476 Reach and 882 Engagements.
