Expected behavior
Qksms application is an open source andriod application which is used for messaging. It basically replaces the messenger application on your mobile andriod device.
When using the application, users are enabled to be able to add contacts directly from messages sent by new contacts which haven't been saved.
Actual behavior
Upon clicking on message from a contact which hasn't been saved yet, and then clicking the number to save the contact, I am unable to save the contact through messages and an error message is displayed saying cannot save invalid number . I verified and test-ran it three more times with other numbers which are very much valid and still the application refuses to add this numbers with same error message everytime.
How to reproduce
- Download Qksms application from f-driod.
- Open application and select ut as your default sms application.
- select a message sent from a number which isnt stored in your contacts.
- from the message, press the menu button.
- click on the phone number to add contact.
- unable to add contact and an error message displays
cannot save invalid numberwhereas number is valid.
