INTRODUCTION
My name is Jeremiah Okoh and I am a proud promoter of open source projects that add value to humanity. I have promoted several open source projects in the past and I am willing to carry out more promotions to help projects get the desired awareness they crave for.
ownCloud is a platform where users can sync and share data. ownCloud is amazing because you have access to your data anywhere you are on any device you choose. This means that you do not have to worry about a misplaced device or worry about loosing your files anymore because ownCloud has made it easy to access any of your data, anywhere and anytime. You can also sync files from other major platforms to your ownCloud. The features, solutions and organization of the project, prompted me to promote it on twitter.
CAMPAIGN STRATEGY
For this particular promotion for ownCloud, I came up with a strategy making use of a promotional post on twitter for ownCloud. The post was promoted to several Nigerians using a method called influencer marketing. I contacted an organization with great influence in promotions both offline and online in Lagos, Nigeria and paid a sum of N5,000 to help promote my tweet to Nigerians on twitter. I tried out this method because of various testimonials I have heard about the promotion of this organization and it has proven to be effective in my first attempt.

I chose to promote to Nigeria because I know that Nigerians would love a good product like ownCloud. They will only know about it if they are told. I made use of a short write up because of the platform used for the promotion, which is twitter. As brief and simple as it was, the write-up could easily interest anyone who came across it.

CAMPAIGN RESULTS & SUMMARY
This campaign was a good one considering that the strategy implored was a new one. From the results, I can say that it was worth it. The post has 11,177 impressions, and total engagement of 455 as at the time of writing this post. Below is a screenshot of the results.
