Swipe up gesture doesn't always work

Expected behavior

I expected that since I set swipe up as a gesture to open my app drawer it will work flawlessly.

Actual behavior

With the gesture active, swiping up on the desktop page doesn't always open the app drawer.

How to reproduce

• download and install the launcher
• launch the app
• by default the gesture is set
• swipe up to open the app drawer and sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't

• Device: Infinix note 4
• Operating system: Android 7.0 Nougat

• Software version: 0.5.10
