Suggestion
This suggestion came up as a result of complaints from fellow steemians who have been unable to recover their master password as a result of carelessness i will say. Majority of steemian that lost their master password happen as a result of inclusion of an unknown alphabet or digit, of which has make it difficult for them to have access to their steemit account,from other browser or immediately after they log out of their steemit account. Lost of steemit master password as a result of slight error made steemians unintentionally, has lead to frustration because there is no other options for them to recover their password.
Since there is big possibility of not having access to external backed, as a result of both man made and natural occurrence like, theft, fire out break, earth quake and other circumstances and also the existing backed up password on the device been compromised due wrong digit or alphabet inclusion unknowingly then it will become difficult to have access to login.
As there are so many other reasons in which steemian must have lost their master password, and been deprive of access to login to their steemit account from other device become difficult. Then i tend to bring a suggestion that can help steemian have access to their account again.
Suggested solution
The suggestion that can alleviate and solve the problem above, is the inclusion of a check box to show hidden password as shown below.

Inclusion of this check box, will help. steemians who have enabled auto fill option on their browser to automatically fill their username and password to recover their master password. As most active users on steemit will always use auto fill form to access their steemit account.
Enabling this check box to show hidden password, will make it much more easier for steemians to recover their password from their browser to copy and update existing password.
