Kolab Notes is the open source note taking app, which makes it possible to sync your notes with Kolab and IMAP server in the Kolab v3 storage format.
Proposal
I want to propose to the developers of kolab note that the share option should be attached to the app as it will help users share their notes to friends.
Mockups / Examples
When implemented, this is how I expect the feature to look like. After highlighting a note, the options will come up as it appears in the picture below
After clicking on the share note option, this willl be how the next screen will look like
Then you can select any of the apps you wish to share to its user.
Benefits
The benefit of this feature is that it will help users share their notes directly from the app and it will also be a kind of advertisement strategy because the shared note should be with an attachment of 'sent from kolab notes' to let the receiver know which app did this as it will interest them and they can as well download the app because of this outstanding feature.
