Components
Democracy Droid is an open source app which can be downloaded from google play store. It supports audio and video broadcast too including live streaming . We can get access to worldwide war and peace news, including video streaming of the news. The video streaming can be more advanced. There is no option to fast forward and fast rewind also the support for Chromecast is not available. These can be added to the video streaming of the app.
Proposal
This proposal is about the addition of two features which are directly connected to the video streaming of the news related to war and peace of the war. The features which will be discussed are given below.
1. Fast Forward and Rewind
We can add the fast forward and rewind option to the application. Now there are various methods to do it but one convenient way to do it is by tapping on the screen itself. It will help the users to rewatch the same frame again and also skip any part they want. As the democracy droid app is related to the video streaming this is a very basic need for the advanced broadcast of the videos
2.Enable Chromecast Support
Chromecast as we know represents small devices with which we can connect our personal devices to our Television Sets and view videos streaming over different interfaces on our Television Sets through HDMI connection. Various video streaming interfaces are already including Chromecast support for broadcasting these videos over larger screens. Similarly this addition can be done to the democracy droid app too as this app allows us view videos related to war and peace all across the world.

Benefits
The benefits of these features are given below.
- Fast Forward and Rewind option can help the user to move forward or backward in a video in small frames.
- If the user misses anything in a video he/she has an option to view the portoin again.
- Users usually like to watch videos on larger screens over WiFi. Personal devices like smartphones or Personal computers are not the best broadcasters.
- By adding this feature any video being played on any internet device can be played on a television adding to the convenience of the user and offers better viewing experience.
