Proposal
Adding the Read only feature on this app will make it more smarter. I would propose that the developers of Boost notes should take this into consideration and add an option that will enable users to keep their notes on a Read only mode. This option when turn on should make it impossible to edit note stored on Boost notes.

When the user toggle the 'read only' mode on, the saved notes can only be read but not editable.
Benefits
This is one of the smartest feature on notes apps. Because It helps protect the users files from being edited when they leave their phones and devices into the hands of other users who may mistakenly go through their notes. This feature will help make the note stay readable but not editable.
