New Version of WordPress was Released last week - WordPress 4.9
I've been using WordPress for about 20 of my websites in the last 12 years. And whenever there is an update, WordPress will notify me by email. So for those of you who use WordPress to build your websites, you will be glad to hear of this announcement just released last week. WordPress 4.9 is ready. If you used the beta version in the last few weeks, you can now use the WordPress 4.9 version.

WordPress 4.9 focuses on Managing Plugins and Themes, Gutenberg Targeted for 5.0. Lots of people are curious and anxious to use the Gutenberg editor. Gutenberg will be the main driver behind WordPress 5.0 that will be released next year.

Choosing Themes for your WordPress Site
The good news about the new released WordPress 4.9 is that you can now choose any themes and change any themes on the WordPress dashboard without ever leaving the customization. This is a big changer and very handy for us.
Update your WP site and you will understand what I mean. Choosing and changing WordPress themes for your site is made a whole lot easier than before.
With WordPress 4.9, there are new Website Themes for Edupreneurs
This is especially good news for teachers and life coaches. These days, Online Schools are very popular. One of my clients wants to build a new website that coaches her students to create her own online school. It is something like a Edupreneur. This is a new term to many of us because we are more familiar with Entrepreneur. But with the growth of online schools growing everywhere in the last 3 years, Edupreneur is the next new term we will see very often.
Edupreneur is combining Education + Entrepreneur where my client is selling her teaching material online in the form of courses.
For those who are into Edupreneur where you provide professional coaching, development services and skills, WordPress 4.9 has some very neat new themes you can choose from.
While browsing through a few of the themes, I saw a few themes that are good to use for "Life Coaches" using the WP sites where we can train, coach and mentor people who want to pick up various professional skills for their career.

Play around with these different themes and see how it looks. The new version makes it much easier to play around with the themes as you don't need to leave the page.
Some Helpful Tips for Beginners to Get Started
Now that you see how WordPress keeps upgrading their work, if you have not built a website with WordPress, you can try it today. It is quite fun with all the plugins that they offer.
Start with WordPress.com and move to WordPress.org
For beginners who want to build a website, you might want to consider using WordPress platform and play around with what they offer. It's free. I have a few websites that are hosted by WordPress.com. In my early years when I started learning about building websites, I depended on WordPress.com a lot. Eventually as I learned more skills, I moved on to self-hosted WordPress where I have much more flexibility in creating all the little details I need for my website.
So far I have been using Bluehost to host all my websites. There are many other hosting companies out there out there you can choose. I just happened to use Bluehost when I first started and didn't have any problems with them so I continued all these years.
Why use these hosting sites?
With many of these hosting providers, you can build a WordPress website with just ONE CLICK of a button. It is fast and quick and that is what I love about them.
That is how quick it is to get a website up using Word Press. That's why I can easily build 5 websites one evening and use the available themes there to choose the themes for different websites.
And many THEMES are free.
You just click with one button to decide on which theme you want to choose.
This is the REASON why we love using WordPress to build our websites. If you are not good with html and css coding, WordPress is the way to go. Play around with Word Press, and one day when you are good enough with css coding, then you can create your own website from scratch.
