We've been making incremental changes in the 1Ramp web and Android app to improve the overall user experience. We slowed down publishing the updates in form of blogs for some time to take a step back and figure out what should be the next big update.
We are now working on to open up our contest creation tool for anyone on Steem to use, planning to run some exciting challenges with grand prizes, and we recently started developing 1Ramp's iOS application (that'll take some time).
Our core focus for the next one month is to get feedback from our fellow steemians and take our platform development in a direction that the community wants it to grow in.

These updates concern about the fundamental user experience on the 1Ramp's web-app.
1. Markdown Support in the Editor
You can now use a Markdown supported editor on 1Ramp. We started off with a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor, but a lot of our users were also looking for the Markdown support for additional control over the formatting of blogs.
The WYSIWYG editor is still there, but now you'll see a checkbox on the editor screen to enable the Markdown Editor. The editor will also show you the preview in real time.
Pull-request:
Add markdown editor for writing articles #134
2. Infinite Scroll
On any Steem interface or social platform like 1Ramp, the feed is the most important part. That's where the users spend most of their time. From the very start, our focus is on showing the most relevant and quality content to the users, that idea later evolved into the WeAreOne communities, Selects, and Explore section on the 1Ramp platform.

This small but crucial update will improve your experience when you discover and browse the content of your interest on 1Ramp.
3. Skeleton Placeholder
Before this update, we used to show an empty page while your browser loads the feed. Now the loading looks aesthetically satisfying and you also know that the page will load more feed right there. This is a tweak on the UI/UX part of the platform.

Check out the ongoing Street Photography Contest on 1Ramp and explore the winning entries from previous contests.
4.2. We need your feedback
What features would you like to use on Steem? What do you think is missing from the 1Ramp platform? Give us your feedback on the web and Android applications. We'd love to work on them and build a better platform for creative communities on Steem.
