The Utopian bot comments on User account with less than 500 followers always are demotivating. Any contribution made by such account holder receives the Reward as Gift, and not on the value of the contribution. the comments are:
You have less than 500 followers. Just gave you a gift to help you succeed!
Refer below image:
Rewarding someone efforts with comments like this are seldom value to the contributor. Every user do there best to contribute on the most happening platform and getting such comment are de-motivating to many. Even i received with each of my contribution and feel ashamed not to have larger follower bandwidth.
There is no reason that someone make anyone feel to have less value in the social platform, Also, the follower hardly impact on number the vote value. How does it matter if a user have 200 follower or 2000. Not everyone going to vote on the user post and also even if 2000 votes fall on user contribution, does Utopian.io going to pay that user 100% ??
Also, the use of word "GIFT" is not satisfactory, how can some one efforts are valued in Gift instead of Reward??
Suggestion:
As a suggestion to Utopian.io team, I would suggest the use following:
- Remove the sentence from the comment section.
2)Add some motivating word on the comment to encourage user to make better contribution. like, the more you contribute the more you get.
3)The comment can be replaced with "The contribution has more value and get rewarded" (removing Gift word)
4)Even if Utopian.io contribution is linked with follower, Instead of quoting the number 500, Utopian.io team can use "More follower More Reward for you" .
My suggestion is to make the Bots comments more attractive with some motivation words, and also to value the contribution instead of mentioning Gifts on each comments. Every user make the best effort to contribute on Utopian.io, and till the time he make effort to increase the follower above 500 all the contribution gets consumed by other user.
Thanks
