What is WeAreOne?
#WeAreOne is our initiative to give all creative communities on Steem a dedicated space across 1Ramp platform (Android and Web). We believe that this will make content more discoverable and will allow people to connect with more creators.

In our first #weareone release, we listed six communities: @curie, @sndbox, @photofeed, @travelfeed, @ecotrain, and @photomag
The response on our announcement blog was overwhelming. We received a lot of ideas from our fellow steemians to make this feature more and more useful for everyone. Learn more about the new updates in this blog.
1. Community Selects
A dedicated section for the posts upvoted/curated by the official account of the community -- We are calling it 'Selects'.
'Selects' section will show the posts upvoted by the official account of that community. Often times, the creators who are new to a particular community spend a lot of time figuring out the community guidelines and which content will get upvotes. The Community Selects section on 1Ramp will give them a first-hand experience of the approved/upvoted content by the official account/curators/managers.
Primarily, the community selects is to bring forward the best of the creators and content in Steem ecosystem. We are brainstorming various features to give a stage and reach to the creators that they deserve. This is one attempt in that direction. On the similar lines, we just did our first artist showcase program. The artist showcase program lets you tag your favorite artists on Steem, thus creating a repository of the most creative, liked, and followed artists and creators on Steem.
Thanks to the team @curie (@llfarms) for suggesting us this feature.
Additionally, the 'selects' page also shows the upvote percentage at the top of every post by the curator. The feature will keep you on the same page while checking the upvotes and browsing the approved content by a community page.

2. WeAreOne | 2nd Communities Listing
2.1. RecordPool
Communities power everything. With the advent of these new Blockchain platforms, we found another way to help music communities and their fans with the creation of Record Pool. It’s with the support of this kind of curation that we can really make a difference in the lives of artists around the world and at the same time reward the fans and community as the ones doing the curation through the posts they create and tag #recordpool

2.2. Crowdmind
Crowdmind is a Steemit community project dedicated to finding, supporting and rewarding initiatives that harness the key of four primary crowdsourcing categories: crowd wisdom, crowd creation, crowd voting, and crowdfunding. In short terms, crowdmind project aims to play the role in the distribution of rewards to the users which recognize the importance of crowdsourcing activities on Steem blockchain.

3. What's Next? 🎁
Communities on Steem are not limited to #tags and posts. There are real passionate teams of community managers, moderators, curators, delegators, and creators behind them. With each WeAreOne update, we are trying to improve the representation of communities.

Fill up the above google form and we'll reach out to you to get your community on 1Ramp.
If your community (or a specific #tag) belongs to any of the 1Ramp's domains (Art, Dance, Design, Fashion, Film, Literature, Music, Photography, and Travel), you can get it listed on 1Ramp and use this platform as your own, and get the content created by your community featured across all 1Ramp platforms.
We are looking forward to closely collabrating with the community managers and curators to develop tools that they need to help creatros thrive in the Steem Ecosystem.
