I am so tired of people claiming that it's caused by better Diagnostics as if they can't remember 30, 20, or even 10 years ago. This can only be explained by brain damage and / or washing on a massive scale. The DSM criteria has changed over the years but some of these changes actually resulted in a narrowing of the definition rather than an expansion as they claim. The diagnosis itself is stupid to begin with which I'll explain in a minute.

They have over 2,000 Associated genes which are not unique in any way and they can't figure out why some people with these gene variations develop the disorder while most do not, nevertheless they continue to pour research funds into genetic causes. The best they can find are what's known as de novo mutations in other words, they are novel. They are first generation; therefore, not inherited by the parents but rather a result of... Wait for it... The environment.

Going back to why the diagnosis is stupid in the first place because it only labels symptoms and behaviors. It's classified by the DSM as a behavioral disorder which it most definitely is not.
Several studies have looked at the role of brain inflammation in autism and it's been suggested that immune activation is targeting certain cells in the brains of autistic people. A study published earlier last month showed evidence to support this theory.

The MMR being a little more generous gives you about 2 weeks? What type of near death.... or DEATH experience would a child have to have in order to get a diagnosis like that so quickly?
