Have you ever hear the old saying, "Oh what tangled webs we weave when we practice to deceive"?
This is true with the television commercial from the makers of the Zostavax vaccine. One needs to listen closely to hear the doublespeak in their recent television commercial.
Websters dictionary defines doublespeak as language used to deceive usually through concealment or misrepresentation of truth.
Listen closely to their commercial.
At 0:03 seconds into the commercial you will hear that "your immune system slows down increasing the risk for shingles." Then, if you continue to pay attention at 0:45 seconds you will hear "do not get the vaccine if you have a weakened immune system."
Referring back to the Webster dictionary often you can plainly see that the word "weaken" essentially describes an immune system that is slowing down. So in essence if your immune system is slowing down as the video states you should not get the vaccine because your immune system is considered weakened.

1: to make weak : lessen the strength of
2: to reduce in intensity or effectiveness
But, the vaccine industry advertising executives are pros in the art of fear, they derail your train of thought with very scary pictures of the shingles virus so that is your memory of the commercial.
