As I m a citizen of Varanasi I suggest if you coming to Varanasi must visit famous place Shri Kashi Vishwanath Mandir which is in BHU.
Shri Kashi Vishwanath Mandir is one of the famous temples of Varanasi. Kashi Vishwanath Mandir was destroyed many times but in 1930 Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya decided to replicate Shri Kashi Vishwanath Mandir temple in the campus of Benaras Hindu University. The temple was finally completed in 1966. It took 35 years to complete(1931-1966).
Shri Kashi Vishwanath Mandir is one of the tallest temples in India. The height of the temple is 77
meter. Shri Kashi Vishwanath Mandir is although a Lord Shiva temple consists of nine temples within one temple. Shri Kashi Vishwanath Mandir is open to people from all castes, religions.
So if you are coming to Varanasi don't forget to visit Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
